Rollout
It depends on the solution. We build custom applications on the Element platform, whose core is already finished, so the work goes mainly into your specifics and you see the first parts within weeks. Our ready-made products and services each have their own rollout process, and for most of them we describe it on their own page. We will go through the scope in a no-obligation enquiry.
First we clarify your processes and data, then we roll out in stages, migrating from your existing systems. We verify everything in a pilot run before going live.
Yes, training for users and administrators is part of the rollout. Our documentation and training are in Czech, and we stay available after launch. From then on, our support looks after the system.
Yes, that is exactly why we roll out in stages. The pilot runs next to what you use today, so you can check on live data that the system fits before you switch the old one off.
Technology
Both. We roll out ready-made products, such as the Krabicovka warehouse system, the WinShop point-of-sale system or the anyCore manufacturing system, and set them up for your operation. We build custom applications on our own Element platform: its core handles the common parts (users, permissions, records, integration interfaces), and custom development concentrates on what is unique to you.
Yes. Within the group we supply scanners, terminals and printers and look after networks and end devices; these are our ICT services.
Yes, if your system technically allows it. We connect to accounting systems and ERP, e-shops and carriers, either through ready-made connectors or via an API. Which systems a particular product works with is listed by name on its page.
It differs by product. The “Where it runs” row on a product page says whether the system is used in a web browser, in the cloud, on your own server, in a mobile app or on a warehouse terminal. The whole catalogue is on the Products page.
The system changes with the process. Updates and custom development are a normal part of support, so you are not left with software that describes how you worked years ago.
Security
Securent combines technical measures with methodology and staff training, from multi-factor authentication and separate backups to recovery testing.
It depends on the product. Applications on the Element platform can run in the cloud or on your server, according to your requirements, internal rules and legislation. For cloud services such as mWork365 or Flou, the service itself determines where the data is stored; Inventarizuj, for example, keeps it in data centres in the Czech Republic. For most products, we state where they run on their own page.
We keep backups separate from operations, so that the same incident cannot hit them and the data at once. We test restores regularly, because a backup nobody has tried to restore is not a backup. This is part of Securent and of infrastructure management.
Access is set by role, so each user works only with what they are responsible for; in applications on the Element platform its core handles this directly. Our technicians only have access to what they manage for you.
Support
Of course. Support and documentation are in Czech, and you have one place to turn to, whatever you need.
Standard support runs during business hours. For critical operations we offer an extended SLA with a guaranteed response time and priority handling.
Through the form on the Support page, by phone or by e-mail. The numbers and addresses of the individual departments are in our contacts. The more specific the description you send, the faster the request reaches the right person.
With operational questions about the systems we have rolled out, with updates and with custom development. It includes ICT services: management of infrastructure, networks and end devices.
For infrastructure, networks and end devices, usually yes. For applications, it depends on what the system involves. Get in touch, we will go through it with you and tell you straight away what makes sense.
Prices and payment
The pricing model differs by solution: a subscription, a licence with rollout, a price based on the scope of the project, a regular monthly fee for a service, or a one-off hardware purchase. For most products you will find the model on their own page, and for some a public price as well. Larger projects are invoiced in agreed stages. We will calculate a quote for your case from the brief in a no-obligation enquiry.
We get in touch and talk through what you need and what you already have. Only then do we put together a proposed solution and a price. An enquiry does not commit you to anything.
Yes. For larger projects we usually agree on stages, so you pay for what is rolled out and running, not for the whole thing up front.
Careers
It has two rounds. After you apply, our HR department gets in touch, and in the first round you go through your experience, qualifications and what you expect from each other. The second round is technical, with your future manager: projects, the team and the outlook, and you may get a take-home task to present or we may ask you for a sample of your work. Then comes the offer.
Write to us anyway. You can send an application without a specific position. Tell us what you can do and what you enjoy, and we will get in touch as soon as something like that opens up.
Yes. At the start a mentor from among our experienced colleagues helps you, so you learn on the job rather than from a manual. Students have their own route through placements and internships.
At our headquarters in Ostrava and at our branch in Prague. For some positions in the group the place is different, and it is always stated in the job ad.
25 days of holiday, a contribution towards meals and towards pension savings or a long-term investment product (DIP), Edenred Benefits, Multisport, paid English lessons, consultations through Hedepy, work anniversary bonuses and company events. The full list, with amounts, is on the Careers page.
Internships and placements
Computer science students. Professional placements are for the final year of full-time bachelor's or master's studies, and student internships for the other years. You will find both on the Internships and placements page.
Two to three days a week, at most 20 hours a week under an agreement to perform work (DPČ), for at least six months. We set the specific days around your school timetable, so put them in your application.
On real projects, not practice exercises. You have a mentor from among our experienced colleagues the whole time, so there is always someone to ask.
We usually offer graduates with whom the cooperation has worked well over the long term a full-time employment contract. Several of our colleagues started this way. From then on, you apply for a regular position.
