Custom application development
We build custom applications on our own core. Sign-in, permissions and integrations are ready, so you pay only for what makes your company different.
Custom application development at a glance
Product sheet- Category
Custom development
- Who it is for
Companies in logistics, trade and distribution whose own processes standard software does not fit. Adapting the process to an off-the-shelf product would cost them more than the software itself.
- Where it runs
In the cloud and on your own server
- How it is paid for
Based on project scope. Depending on the scope of the brief. The core is ready, so you pay for developing your business logic, not for sign-in, permissions and records all over again. That makes it cheaper to acquire than developing the same scope from scratch.
We build custom applications on a ready-made core
Development does not start with an empty project. Sign-in, permissions, records, printing and integration interfaces are already done in the Element platform, so only what sets your company apart from others is programmed.
In practice this means shorter delivery and a lower purchase price, because you do not pay again for what is already done.
We develop in an agile way and hand over in parts
The collaboration has four stages: a joint workshop to clarify needs, a definition of requirements with an outline quote, agile development with a test run, and rollout with the option of further extension.
You see into the development as it progresses and try out finished parts on your own data, so any difference in how the brief was understood shows up in the week it arose.
What has already been built to order
Element WMS with support for fulfilment and warehouse space optimisation, the logistics system Element TMS for transport and delivery route planning, and fleet management.
Things outside the usual categories have also been built on the same core, such as a currency exchange system or multichannel logistics. The core does not depend on the industry; what changes is the business logic on top of it.
How we get it running for you
Four steps from a joint workshop to rollout
Joint workshop
In one meeting we go through how you work today and where software gets in your way. That shows what the application should do and what it should not.
Requirements and outline quote
We write down the specific requirements and add an outline quote, so you decide on scope and price before any programming starts.
Agile development with a test run
We hand over the solution in parts, and you check each one in a test run.
Rollout and extension
We put the application live and stay with it. Further modules are added as the company changes.
What you get
You pay for your business logic, the core is already built
You see finished parts as you go, the application connects to what you have, and it keeps developing after go-live.
You pay for your own business logic
The core is already built and contains thousands of hours of development. Your budget therefore goes on what your company does differently from others.
You see finished parts as you go
Agile development with a test run means you check the solution while it is being built. A comment therefore comes in the same week the issue arose.
It connects to what you have
The interfaces are built for integration. Through the REST API the application exchanges data with any ERP, online shop or accounting system that offers an API, so nothing gets thrown away.
The whole environment is web-based
The application is used from a browser, in the office, in the warehouse and on a tablet. Nothing is installed on individual devices.
Hosting depends on where you want your data
The solution runs as SaaS on our side or on your server. The decision is yours and does not change what the application can do.
Development continues after go-live
The modular design allows features to be added without rebuilding, so the application changes along with the company.
Integrace
Integration with your systems
Your existing ERP
Data exchange via API, if your system offers one.
Esyco Business
An information system the application connects to.
Online shops
Data exchange with an online shop that offers an API.
REST API
The application's own interface for other systems.
Frequently asked questions
All questions and answersBecause it is not built from scratch. Sign-in, permissions, records, printing and integration interfaces are already done in the Element platform, and only your business logic is developed. With an off-the-shelf product, by contrast, you pay for all of it and bend your process to fit it.
Yes. You go through each part in a test run, so changes are dealt with along the way.
No. The application has a REST API and connects through it to your existing ERP, online shop or accounting system, if that system allows it; otherwise the connection method is chosen according to its technical capabilities. The point is to add what is missing, not to replace your whole operation with a single system.
We build and operate the solution, including servicing and further development. It runs as SaaS or on your server, depending on where you want your data.
