NEXTERA tech
Data analytics
Bring production data from machines, ERP and spreadsheets together in one overview. Dashboards and reports update continuously and show performance, deviations and connections.

Data analytics at a glance
Product sheet- What it is for
Data analytics · Production reporting · Business Intelligence
- Who it is for
Manufacturing companies whose data is split between machines, ERP, information systems and spreadsheets and who need one clear view of production from it.
- How it is paid for
Based on project scope. Depends on the scope. The price is determined by how many data sources are connected, whether sensor measurements need to be added and how many reports are to come out of it.
First, the data has to come from somewhere
Data analytics does not start with a chart but with good-quality input data. We connect to the information systems, databases or other sources in which your production data is already generated and unify it for further processing.
If the necessary machine data is missing, its collection can be added with SensorX. Sensors and measuring devices you already have in production can also be used. For operational reporting it is important that the data updates automatically and as often as the decision in question requires.
Different data, one clear view
We combine data from different sources into clear dashboards and reports. Depending on the project, you can track, for example, production output, downtime, capacity utilisation, consumption, costs, quality or the status of production orders.
Reports update automatically as the source data becomes available, so there is no need to put together new spreadsheets by hand every time. Individual views can be tailored to what production, management or other parts of the company need to follow. With suitable data, the analytics can also be extended with predictive models that help identify trends and expected deviations.
The solution grows with the questions you ask
The first dashboard often reveals connections that raise further questions. We can therefore gradually extend the analytics solution with new data sources, indicators, filters or other views as the company's needs change.
The project also includes support and training for the users who will work with the results. The aim is a report that the foreman and the production manager can read, not just the person who built it.
Fifty projects in plants that manufacture
NEXTERA tech has more than 50 completed projects and over 10 years of experience with digitalisation and production data behind it. Publicly named customers include Barum Continental, Moravia Cans, EFFBE, Fillamentum and Moltec.
In production analytics, a nice chart is not enough. The report has to match the actual operation, the processes in use and the decisions you need to make with the data, otherwise nobody will look at it a month later.
How we get it running for you
Five steps from analysis to rollout
Analysis
We go through your processes, current systems, available data and the questions you cannot easily answer today.
Definition
We set the goals of the analytics, the key indicators, the data sources and the users who will work with each report.
Design
We design the data connections, the structure of the reports and the implementation plan. That makes it clear in advance where the data will come from, how it will be processed and what the result should be.
Implementation
We connect the required data sources, prepare the transformations and build dashboards and reports. We continuously check the outputs against real data and adjust them based on feedback.
Rollout and maintenance
We put the solution into everyday use, train the team and can then extend it with new data sources, indicators and reports.
What you get
Production and management decide on the same data
An overview of unused capacity, consumption and quality, and one supplier from data collection to report.
Decisions based on the same data
Production and management work from a shared source of information. Instead of several conflicting spreadsheets, you can base decisions on the same, continuously updated data.
An overview of unused capacity
Analysis of downtime and utilisation shows where production stands still and where unnecessary waiting times arise. That way you first see how much room for improvement your existing operation has.
An overview of material and energy consumption
If the necessary data is available, consumption can be tracked over time, by machine, product or order, and you can look for deviations and places where there is waste.
Quality backed by production data
Quality data can be linked with production data to look for connections between non-conformities and a specific order, machine or the conditions of the production process.
A complete solution from collection to report
We take care of collecting and linking the data, processing it, analysing it and the final visualisation. If machine data is missing, the solution can also be extended with SensorX. You do not have to coordinate separate suppliers for measurement, integration and analytics.

Frequently asked questions
All questions and answersYes, if the data can technically be extracted from it. NEXTERA tech works with data from information systems, databases, spreadsheets and other sources, and designs a suitable way of connecting them for your particular environment. Nothing has to be replaced for the sake of the reports.
Depending on the type of production, missing data can be added through measurement. NEXTERA tech can use SensorX or connect sensors and measuring devices that you already use in production. Only then are the analysis and report built on the measured data.
Yes. We design dashboards and reports around specific roles and the decisions users need to make with them. The project can also include training the team and adjusting the reports based on feedback from everyday use.
The time depends mainly on the number of data sources, their quality, the availability of interfaces and the scope of the reports required. A simpler project on data that is already prepared is much faster than a solution that first needs additional measurement, data cleansing or the integration of several systems.
