We are looking for a new team member for NEXTERA tech, part of the E LINKX group. Become a web application tester in a team that ensures the quality of solutions for real-world manufacturing!
Do you enjoy finding bugs that no one else notices? Do you like order, logic, and the satisfaction of seeing things work as they should? We develop web applications and MES systems for manufacturing companies. Our applications run on factory floors, where nothing can be allowed to grind to a halt, which is why your role is crucial. Without you, nothing that could cause a problem will reach our clients.
Our projects are long-term, well thought out and built on quality. You will be its guardian.
Who we are looking for
- You have experience and don't wait for someone to tell you what to do.
- Do you enjoy understanding a product in depth and asking why and what happens if?
- You're not afraid to speak up when something doesn't seem right.
- We’re not looking for a junior, but a partner.
What you should know
- Experience testing web applications, ideally 3 years or more.
- An eye for detail and the ability to see connections. An error is rarely hidden where you expect it.
- Experience in creating test scenarios and regression tests, and reporting bugs.
- Basic knowledge of automated testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) is an advantage.
- At least a basic knowledge of JavaScript, ideally TypeScript as well. Effective test automation today cannot do without it.
- Some familiarity with PHP. You do not need to be able to write applications in it, but being able to read the code and understand what is happening where is a major advantage.
- An understanding of web application security. You know what XSS, SQL injection, CSRF and similar risks are, and can take them into account when designing tests.
- Ability to communicate clearly and to the point with both developers and business stakeholders. A good bug report is half the battle.
- Responsibility and independence. You know when it is enough to see a task through and when you need to pull the emergency brake.
- If you enjoy being the person who asks, “What if the user clicks here twice?”, are looking for meaningful work, and quality is more than just an empty word to you, then we’ll get along.

Technologies and tools you will work with
- Manual and automated testing of web applications built with PHP and Nette.
- Automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Postman and similar tools for API testing.
- Docker for working with the test environment and Git for scenario versioning.
- Jira and Confluence for managing bugs, test plans, and documentation.
- Access to AI tools and internal AI agents that will help you design scenarios and analyze logs.
