NEXTERA tech
Project Manager
driving force behind the development of Inventarizuj and kBase products
- Employment contract
- Full-time
- Zlín
- Hybrid
- up to CZK 3,000 per day
Lead kBase development for a customer and Inventarizuj deliveries for new clients. Join a small, close-knit team building two impactful products.
We are looking for a new team member for NEXTERA tech, part of the E LINKX group. Do you want to manage the development of products that have a real impact? Do you enjoy keeping things on track while also understanding why they are being done? Then you are the person we are looking for.
We are a small, close-knit team working on two projects. Inventarizuj is an online platform that uses RFID to change the way companies take inventory of their assets: no more endless Excel spreadsheets and pencils, but fast, automated inventory-taking. kBase is an application we are developing to meet the specific needs of one customer as an internal extension to their ERP system.
Our development team is fast and independent, but it needs someone to help keep it on track—both in project management and in translating customer needs into specific requirements.
Who we are looking for
- You can plan and coordinate a development team.
- You can communicate with both customers and developers.
- You see things through to completion, whether it concerns deadlines, scope or quality.
- You are not afraid to delve into the product logic, understand user needs and turn them into a clear brief.
What you will do with us
- Manage the development of the kBase application: serve as the main point of contact for the customer, gather requirements, prioritize the backlog, coordinate developers, and see releases through to completion.
- Monitor the integration of kBase with the customer's ERP system and translate their internal needs into clear requirements.
- Lead Inventarizuj projects for new clients, from the initial workshop and RFID deployment through to handover for operation.
- Communicate with customers about requirements, expectations, and deadlines.
- Organize sprints, stand-ups, and reviews based on the team's needs.
- Keep the timeline, budget and communication under control.
What you should know
- Experience in managing IT or software development projects.
- Ability to clearly communicate and document requirements so that developers can work with them.
- Basic knowledge of agile development (Scrum, Kanban).
- Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or other task and documentation management tools.
- Familiarity with a technical environment. You do not need to know how to code, but you should understand how web applications are developed and what makes a good ticket.
- Independence and the ability to see things through and keep the team moving forward.
- Experience with managing a product roadmap or deploying IT solutions for customers is an advantage.
What we offer
- Meaningful work with a real impact: solutions that reduce manual steps for companies in asset management and working with ERP data.
- Influence over the direction. kBase grows together with the customer, Inventarizuj is being rolled out to more clients, and your decisions will have an immediate impact.
- A small, close-knit team, quick communication, and room for your own initiative.
- An open and fair culture built on trust, transparency and a human approach.
- Support for professional development and opportunities to learn new technologies and practices.
- A base in Zlín for project work, customer workshops and consultations. Hybrid working is natural for us; we are not currently looking for fully remote collaboration for this role.
- A quiet working environment, good coffee, and parking right outside the office.
